My First Time

We all have many first’s in life. Our first kiss. First boyfriend/girlfriend. First car. First wedding. You get the picture. Well at this point in my life I am having quite a bit of “firsts”… My first 6+ years relationship. My first time having step children. My first blog. My first time keeping bees. My first time running a honey business. First for helping grow the eco system in the community. My first at opening up the kitchen for everyone to see how we spice or sweeten things up with our honey. Please know with this being my first that I will have a lot of learnings. So….PLEASE be patient with my blogging. I know that I will grow and evolve as I get more comfortable and hopefully get better at this. I hope that we all will enjoy this journey together and BEE-come a closer knit community (“hive”).😉🐝

Why am I the Tea Steeper??? Even though I did not grow up in the south, I did grow up on sweet tea. I have loved tea my whole life. Iced or hot and everything in between. I have always laughed and called it my sweet nectar of life. (Honey now my second sweet nectar of life)😉 Nope never got into pop (sodas for you non mid-westerners) they never were my thing. So while creating this website/blog I thought having something rhyme with beekeeper would be fun. So this was the end result. When I am typing these blogs or creating in the kitchen I always have a glass of iced tea, a cup of hot tea and sometimes kombucha ( the soda of tea).☕
